What is a 'Tea with Marie Antoinette' exactly?
It is a unique online experience where you get to meet the last queen of France for tea. It is a wonderful opportunity for you to ask her any questions you might have about her life, what she went through or any other questions which might arise while you are having tea together!
What if I am very shy and I would love to meet the queen but I would rather stay quiet during the encounter?
That is perfectly fine. The queen will understand. If you really want to make sure the queen does not talk to you, mention it to her by email before the encounter. She loves when her guests ask her questions as the more engaged people are, the more fun. But you are welcome as you are. She has enough stories & anecdotes to share with you to entertain you for an hour.
Do I need to dress in a special way to meet the Queen?
Absolutely not. If you wish to do so, the queen will be delighted. But the Etiquette of Versailles will not be followed. You will be able to adress the queen as you are.
What if I love the idea but I really don't know much about history?
Don't worry. That is exactly why the queen is back. To make history fun and if you are a bit lost with the dates, she will make it simple for you to remember and to have a better global view of the different main events around her life

Of course it is. The queen prefers already formed groups actually. I would love to have tea with the queen but I am on my own. Can I join other people?
Yes, of course. The queen sometimes organises tea for people who might not know each other beforehand.
